Our CEO and Founder Receives ESG Profile Impact Award 2024

Our CEO and Founder, Tine Arentsen Willumsen has been selected and honoured with the special ESG Profile Impact Award 2024 by Finans and KPMG Denmark at the Impact Award Show at JP/Politikens Hus in Copenhagen amongst very strong awardees.

With this special recognition, Mads Raahede saluted Tine Arentsen Willumsen for the power, knowledge and impact she has invested in the S in the ESGs; in relentlessly driving the gender diversity agenda forward.

Upon receiving the prize, Tine Arentsen Willumsen thanked her team and all her amazing partners, and emphasized that without their support, all of this would not have been possible.

Tine has, since she established Above & Beyond Group 10 years ago, established a platform and global community for companies and organisations that are determined to drive the diversity and inclusion agenda forward – in their own companies, together in The Diversity Council, at Womenomics Global DE&I Summit and in society.

Tine was also awarded for her reach. In close collaboration with her team and strategic partner companies, Tine has improved the work culture and career options for more than 600.000 employees in the more than 20 companies in The Diversity Council, she has propelled forward more than 5.000 talents through the leadership programs in Above & Beyond Academy and she has developed tools, methodologies and new knowledge on how to achieve more inclusive leadership for the broader Danish business community.

Both through publications such as The Diversity Pact as a joint effort with Dansk Erhverv and also through ”The Danish Gender Equality Paradox” with McKinsey & Company, that shed light on the reasons behind the lack of gender equality on leadership positions in Denmark – including recommendations for businesses, organisations and politicians.

Throughout all these achievements, Tine has not only emphasized the importance of achieving gender-balanced leadership but has also strongly advocated for the inclusion of a broader definition of diversity, encompassing difference in cultural background, age and abilities.
