Empowering the Next Generation: Lead the Future Campaign

This year’s Lead the Future campaign has hosted five engaging panel debates so far, with two more events still to come. Each panel discussion has been an inspiring showcase of personal stories and reflections from exceptional role models.

At DTU, panelists Janne Bach Falkenberg (Coloplast) and Kristine Waldal Olsen (KPMG Denmark) shared practical advice on vocalizing ambitions, standing out in job applications, and ensuring unique skills are recognized.
Janne Bach Falkenberg (Coloplast), Anne Dyrberg Rommer (Danmarks Nationalbank) and Annette Jensen (PwC Denmark) inspired the students at Aurehøj Gymnasium by discussing the value of curiosity and seizing opportunities. They also addressed questions on balancing leadership with parenthood and navigating DE&I within fast-paced organizations.
At Aarhus University Diana Bach-Laursen (Energinet), Carmen Dincu (Vestas), Helen Ann Hamilton (BioMar) and Ermelinda Porpiglia (Danwise) shared insights on the importance of networking and practical advice on balancing personal life with professional ambitions.
At Copenhagen University, panelists Elena Teidelt (Vestas), Helle Sørensen (BioMar), and Aviaja Riemann-Andersen (Agrain) shared how careers often evolve without a clear path. They encouraged students to stay adaptable, build connections, and focus on the next step.
During the latest event at ITU, Handan Yildiran (Coloplast), Signe Marie Degn (Danmarks Nationalbank), and Line Juul Nørgaard (KPMG Denmark) emphasized the importance of authenticity, tackling challenges directly, and embracing diverse perspectives to foster inclusive and resilient workplaces.

Our Lead the Future campaign aims to empower the next generation of leaders by connecting them to our exceptional women in STEM leadership positions. Through panel discussions our role models share their experience and expertise and together we hope to pave the way for a more balanced and inclusive future.
